BMS Post

Now, time to showcase another one of my hobbies, notecharting. Of course, this was bourne out of my love for O2 Jam. Basically, a notechart is the stream of notes you are playing in O2 Jam. For example, there is the HX notechart, and such. Creating a notechart is to do just that, to create a stream of notes, that goes with the song notecharted, for you to play. It is definately not an easy thing to though, due to difficulty in syncing the notes. Zuo Jia would give people who do not know a lowdown on how difficult it is.

The song in question here is Ray of Illuminati, an awesome song from DJ MAX JP, another rhythm-based game. I originally disliked it, but well, one of the trade-offs of notecharting is that you have to listen to the entire song over and over and over again, so much until you are psychoed to like it.

Nice, eh?

Seriously, most of you would love it the first time you hear it and save it to your MP3 players.

Now back to the notecharts.

One thing you should know however, is that this is a group effort from my guild Sleeping Forest, for which I have contributed. There are 5(!) difficulties for you to play around with; all in somewhat different syles from each other, since they are many people notecharting seperate difficulties.

The difficulties are EX, NX, HX, MX and SC, all according to DJ MAX's way of putting difficulties (for certain songs). I made EX and SC.

So, enjoy them people! Here is the link to our forum topic; since this is a group effort, I do not think I can bear to put the direct link here.

Hi.

Enjoy them! Consider them a gift from me.

Merry Christmas!

This is, perhaps, where the speed of flow is at its slowest, and the temperature is at its warmest. For that fleeting moment, one gets to appreciate all that is around him; the unexplained magic that should not be there. The spirit of giving is one that people should appreciate, and definately the most important one to possess.

Unless you are giving pain that is.

Merry Christmas, everyone! And a Happy Birthday to Jesus Christ, who came down and saved us all. Presents shall be exchanged, and turkey shall be eaten. Enjoy the festive season as it lasts!

O2 Blues

Well, as you all would know, I play O2 Jam very, very often, and that I am an 'above average' player, according to the rankings. Ever since I signed up 11 months ago, I have been hooked ever since, and I have always strived to improve more and more, until the level I am at now. And I have to say that I am quite proud of myself in this area, being able to focus on accuracy and to keep the combo on most under level 30 songs quite well. This is proven when I go into most versus rooms; I usually beat most people I see (although I don't mean to boast).

But still, I want more. I might be 'pro' to you guys, but when I go into forum threads such as the below...

http://o2jamforum.e-games.com.my/?f=37&p=078&m=12388

It makes me feel like I am some random noob, in front of some random computer, in some random country, not destined to emerge as a true pro.

For example, scores like this

%5

Cools/Goods/Bads/Misses/Max Combo/Score
1115/ 44 / 0 / 0 / 1158 / 479980

might make people who just got into the game go "wao!", but... it's still no match for an FCC (search for anyone you want).

Bleaugh. Rant over. Practice is the key I guess. Maybe, just maybe, I might someday be as good as the ones who can FC R3 HX.

Which I can't even pass halfway now.

Whatever.

Along the River of Orange

The river of orange is a neverending one, and as old as time itself. It is without a purpose; without a goal, flowing endlessly into infinity. However, it is not without its surprises, for it has many twists and turns, drops and ascents, and sudden changes in the speed of its flow. And one can only drift aimlessly whilst sitting in his own floating tube, going along this uncertain path, basking in the orange light provided by the beautiful sunset while it lasts, and bracing himself for the night when it comes.

It may not be the most pleasant of rides, or the safest of journeys. But I couldn't have it better any other way.

Well, I have jumped onto the blogging bandwagon. I may or may not update it regularly. It may or may not turn out to be interesting, and I may give it up and let it go into disrepair like a disused toy, if I get bored with it. But this is now, and that is later. So let's leave it to the flow of the river to decide, shall we?
